About the All of Us Researchers Convention

What is the All of Us Researchers Convention?
The All of Us Researchers Convention is held April 3-4, 2024. The free, virtual event is open to researchers across all disciplines and career stages. It provides an opportunity for researchers who use All of Us data to showcase their work for others who share their interests in precision medicine.

Where is the All of Us Researchers Convention?
The convention is virtual. The convention platform will be accessible via this website. 

When is the All of Us Researchers Convention?
The convention will be held from Wednesday, April 3, through Thursday, April 4, 2024. Sessions will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET on both days.

Do I have to attend all day?
You may choose which sessions to attend. You can also log in and out of the convention platform as needed.

Will the sessions be recorded?
Yes, all sessions will be recorded and available to watch on the convention platform from April 5, 2024, through July 5, 2024.

All of Us Researchers Convention Registration

Who can attend the convention?
Everyone is welcome to attend. 

How do I register?
Visit the registration page to register from mid-January through April 4. Registration takes only a few minutes. You will receive a link to access the convention platform after your registration is complete. 

Is there a registration fee?
No, there is no registration fee.

What do I need to register?
Registration requires your name, email address, and organizational or institutional affiliation, if applicable.

When is the registration deadline?
There is no registration deadline. Interested attendees can register anytime prior to the convention or any day during the convention. You can join a session within five minutes of registering. If you encounter any issues attending sessions, contact support at AOUResearchersConvention@pyxispartners.co.

Abstract Submission

Who can submit an abstract?
Registered All of Us researchers are invited to submit abstracts using All of Us data. Visit the Submission page for the eligibility criteria.

Research Scholar Program (RSP) students and students who are part of RSP affiliate organizations must submit posters through RSP or their organization. Contact aouresearchersconvention@pyxispartners.co with any questions.

Can I submit a previously published research project?
Both in-progress and previously published research projects are eligible for submission. If the work has been published, please include a full citation and a link in the application. 

How are abstracts selected?
The review committee will evaluate abstracts based on the submission criteria.

When will I be notified if my abstract has been selected?
Submitters will be notified in mid-February 2024.

Are presenters eligible for any awards?
Yes, two awards are given out at the convention. Visit the awards page for more information. 

What are the requirements if my abstract is selected?
If your abstract is selected, you will be required to attend a one-hour virtual session in mid-March to prepare for the event.
 

Will I need a slide presentation if I am selected?
Yes, presenters are expected to use slides during their presentation. Visit the post-submission instructions for more information.
